Research is a well-planned and systematic process of finding out about unknown problems or deep understanding of the issues. The innate desire of people to discover the facts has made research and research a significant advance and a variety of Methods of doing research also emerge from human beings.

In all stages of life, especially research, human beings try different ways to achieve their goals and choose the best and most effective way to reach their goals.

Methodology

The research method is called the search method and how to achieve the research goal or solution to a problem. In other words, the methodology is the process of acquiring knowledge by gathering data and converting it to findings.

The criterion is divided into two types:

By purpose

Based on the need to hypothesize

Goal-based types of research

Fundamental

Practical

Research and Development

Types of research based on need for hypothesis

Exploratory

Descriptive

Trial

Basic Research

In this type of research, the author and researcher examines existing theories in a particular field and expresses the relationship between phenomena. The main purpose of this research is to discover the scientific rules and principles and to develop the existing knowledge collection and to make practical application The finding is irrelevant.

Among the prominent features of fundamental research are the following:

Record and maintain overall results

Testing theories

Need a long time

Requires high cost

Research by scientific and academic centers

Two methods of empirical and theoretical analysis are used in conducting fundamental research.

In the experimental method, the data are collected through experimentation, observation, etc., but in the theoretical method, the basic information of the research is gathered through a library method.

Applied Research

Applied research is aimed at developing applied knowledge and solving a specific scientific or social problem, and this research creates a new method that is used to make life better and more clearly and socially.

Among the prominent features of applied research are the following:

They take less time than basic research.

It is often done by factories and public and private organizations.

They have a lot of income.

Research development

Developmental research is carried out to develop the general knowledge of human beings. Therefore, research and research on all subjects that can contribute to the dissemination of these sciences and reveal unknown issues is one of developmental research.

Exploratory Research

Exploratory research works on the existence or absence of a phenomenon. It also tries to find answers to problems that are not clear.

Exploratory research can be done in many areas and can therefore be considered the most flexible and extensive research method.

Descriptive research

In this type of research, the researcher studies the current state of the subject and describes and interprets existing conditions and relationships.

The main purpose of this type of research is to give an objective, realistic description of the characteristics of a situation or a topic.

Experimental research

Experimental research is a study used to establish causal relationships between two or more variables and to study causality. The purpose of the experiment is to test a hypothesis and obtain an empirical explanation of a phenomenon or causal mechanism.

Experiments allow the occurrence of an event under special circumstances. Whenever we apply new and different factors to a situation or make changes to an existing situation, we perform an experiment and call it an experimental method.

Depending on the extent of the experimenter's control, the experiments are divided into three categories:

Laboratory research

Field Experiments

Natural experiments
